A 19th Century Spanish Order of Charles III; Commander's Star

Badge (silvered and bronze gilt with red and black enamels, unmarked, 61.3 mm, on neck ribbon); Breast Star (silver gilt with red and black enamels, unmarked, 71 mm x 71 mm, vertical pinback flanked by dual prongs); Miniature (bronze gilt with red and black enamels, unmarked, 19 mm x 19 mm, button hole attachment); Miniature (three-piece construction, silver gilt, unmarked, 16 mm x 16.2 mm, button hole attachment); and Falange Membership Badge (silvered metal with black enamels, numbered "554984" and marked "A" on the reverse, 14.5 mm x 19 mm, button hole attachment). Intact enamels, gilt wear evident on the Breast Star, light contact, near extremely fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, bronze gilt Spanish coat-of-arms affixed to the lid, maker marked "CONDECORACIONES JOYERIA Cejalvo MADRID" on the inside lid, black velvet medal bed, light wear on the edges on the exterior, case also near extremely fine.

Of high quality production, in gold and enamels, arms set with genuine diamonds, 23mm, weighs 6.8 grams, of excellent quality manufacture, circa 1935-40, in extremely fine condition.

A Spanish Order of Military Merit; Breast Badge - In bronze gilt and white enamel, with brooch bar, very fine.

An 1822 Spanish Order of St.Ferdinand in Gold; French Versio - Royal Military Order of St. Ferdinand, French version 1822 – in Gold and enamels, Officer’s Cross, 37.45mm (x 55mm including wreath suspension), chipping to blue enamels on obverse, with tattered, original period ribbon, in very fine condition, very scarce. Footnote: version of this award with green leaves pointing downwards was awarded to Volunteer French Troops.
