Senior NCO Pilot Luftwaffe Wehrpass - KIA - Military Pass to senior NCOPilot, Reinhold Peter Trenz, in Bomber Squadrons 28 and 100. He was born on November 15, 1916. Multiple stamped pass with the holder's photograph, 105 mm x 142 mm, very fine. Footnote: Trenz volunteer for the Luftwaffe in 1937, trained with the Flieger-Evs.-Abt. 24 in 1938 and was later trained as a bomber pilot in 1941. He achieved many accomplishments throughout his short military career, as he was awarded the Iron Cross Second Class (1942), the Bronze Bomber Clasp (1942), the Iron Cross First Class (1942), the Silver Bomber Clasp (1942), the Gold Bomber Clasp (1943) and the Pilot's Badge (1943). In addition, he earned a Class A Glider Certificate. Trenz crashed and was killed when taking off for his 174th mission in 1943, a veteran of missions flown in Southern Greece, the Mediterranean and Southern France.
