Leicht-Kranken Kriegs-Lazaretts 551 (mot.); group of awards, mounted - pinned a long time ago on cloth background, framed, and exactly as it was displayed in recipients’ home; comprising: War Merit Cross with Swords, bronze; Iron Cross, 1939, 2. class, magnetic; War Merit Cross 1st. Class, zinc; Eastern Front Medal, zinc; Croatia, Order of King Zvonimir, 3d. Class with Swords, in bronze gilt and enamels; SA-Sports Badge, in bronze; Wound badge, black grade; HRVATSKA arm badge/insignia; ID Tag; Shoulder Board, Stabsarzt; all awards in slightly worn condition. This German medical Officer served alongside Croatian forces (thus arm shield HRVATSKA and Order of King Zvonimir), most likely on the Russian Front.
