Footnote: Wilkie Colin Stanton Louis was born in Russell, Ontario on December 30, 1892 or 1893. He is credited with having signed two Attestation Papers. The first Attestation Paper was signed with the 154th Battalion on October 4, 1915 at Cornwall, Ontario, stating his birth year as 1892, that he was not married, that he had previous military service with the Governor General's Foot Guards and that his trade was that of Printer. His second Attestation Paper was signed with the Railway Construction and Construction Depot on July 20, 1917 at Ottawa, Ontario, stating his birth year as 1893, that he was discharged from service with the 154th Battalion due to a disablility, that he was not married and that his trade was that of Printer. He stated that he had suffered a gun shot wound and had an artificial right eye, possibily lost in battle.
