An NSKK Dagger by Heinrich Kaufmann & Söhne KG (Indiawerk), Solingen - Measuring 373 mm in length with the scabbard on, this NSKK dagger is engraved "Alles für Deutschland" on the blade, exhibiting beautiful crossgraining, with the usual in and out runner marks, semi-sharp edges and an extremely sharp tip. It is maker marked with the Heinrich Kaufmann & Söhne KG (Indiawerk), Solingen insignia on the reverse ricasso, the blade with faint traces of surface wear, measuring 221 mm in length and rating better than extremely fine. Nickel plated fittings on both crossguards, along with the pommel, both crossguards exhibit light contact, the central crossguard marked with the SA Group Gau mark "Nrh" (Niederrhein) on the reverse. Wooden handle fits tight to the crossguards, exhibiting light contact and without chipping, embedded finely-detailed aluminum eagle rates better than very fine, while the SA insignia exhibits light contact and silvering wear, with its brown enamels intact, the dagger measuring 345 mm in length. The scabbard fittings with overall contact, the ball finial dented on the end, paint chipping and wear evident on the black painted body from very active use, ring attached to the locket, the throat and chape held firmly in place via two screws each, the scabbard measuring 245 mm in length. Better than very fine.
