An M35 Double Decal Army (Heer) Helmet by  Emaillerwerk AG, Fulda; This is an untouched and outstanding example that has not been available on the market before; Steel helmet, magnetic, original apple green exterior, left side exhibiting the Army (Heer) eagle, the National tri-colour shield on the right side, the insignias having experienced moderate scuffing and contact. The inside comes complete with its original eight-panel butterscotch-coloured leather liner, each panel with five ventilation holes, plus a black shoelace replacing the original drawstring that has been lost to time, fed through a sixth hole at the end of each panel, each with a circular reinforcement on the underside, size stamped in black ink "57" on one of the rear panels, the initials "H H" in black ink on the left side, the shoelace tied in a knot. Original two-piece leather chinstrap is maker marked at the feeder end, with aluminum buckles, and affixed to the liner's steel frame, the helmet with its original pins holding the frame firmly in place. The underside of the skirt is stamped "E.F. 64" (maker: Emaillerwerk AG, Fulda; size marked 64) on the left side and "20772" at the rear. Measures 230 mm x 285 mm x 150 mm in height. The original paint on the interior and exterior has experienced light contact, paint loss on the head of one pin, the leather liner exhibiting light soiling and wear from active use. Extremely fine.
