A Yugoslavian Order of People's Hero; First Version

A Yugoslavian Order of People's Hero; First Version - in Gold, of Soviet manufacture, awarded to Veljko Micunovic (1916 - 1982), one of the leading Montenegrin Communist leaders during WWII, who, after the War, served on most senior Yugoslav functions, including being twice ambassador to the Soviet Union (1956-1958; 1969-1971); and ambassador to the USA  (1962-1967): Order of People's Hero (Orden Narodnog Heroja), in 23Kt. Gold, 39.5 grams, first version, of Soviet manufacture, in extremely fine condition, with original neck ribbon; and in fine quality, original case of issue. Order comes with a COPY of the award document, stating, it is number 138, awarded in 1953. First version of this Order, made in the Soviet Union during the War is very rare and seldom offered on the market.
