A First War Medal Pairto the Canadian Railway Troops

A First War Medal Pairto the Canadian Railway Troops -  British War Medal (2013353 SPR. P. JACKSON. C.R.T.); and Victory Medal (2013353 SPR. P. JACKSON. C.R.T.). Naming is officially impressed. Mounted to a suspension with swing bar pinback, as worn by the veteran, original ribbons, light contact, cleaned, better than very fine. Footnote: Percy Jackson was born on July 18, 1887 in Prestwich, Lancashire, England. He was a resident of Waltham, Massachusetts when he signed his Attestation Paper with the Railway Construction Company, on June 17, 1918, in Boston, Massachusetts, at the age of 30, naming his next-of-kin as his father, William Jackson of Prestwich, stating that he had no previous military service, that he was not married and that his trade was that of Railway Clerk.
