A Danish Ryttermaerke Rider's Badge; Silver Grade - c. 1930s Silver, marked "925.S" (silver), maker marked "FRITHJOF BRATLAND" and numbered "208" on the reverse, illustrating a nude rider on a horse, the right arm reaching upwards and holding a wreath, inscribed "DANSK-RIDEFORBUND" above and "RYTTERMAERKE" below and engraver marked "H.S.", 50 mm, horizontal pinback, light contact, bruised, near extremely fine. In its circular cardboard box of issue, marked "Sølvsmed Frithjof Bratland Gothersgade 87 København" (Frithjof Bratland, Silversmiths, Gothersgade 87, Copenhagen" on the lid, numbered "208" in pencil on the bottom, box also near extremely fine.
